I went to Serpentini Chevy in Medina Ohio for general maintenance, including an oil change, on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. I paid approximately $668.00. On Friday, May 9th, 2025 I drove home from work and my Oil Light came on, telling me my Oil Pressure was low. I then drove back to Serpentini and I found out my Oil line had burst. This repair will now cost me an additional $1,500.00 dollars and my truck is now in their shop. My truck is approximately 9 years old and it's worth about $12,000. Things happen, but it still feels like a $2,000 Oil Change.

We had Mike help us with our 2017 Chevy Volt which developed an engine issue. Mike was very good at answering our questions and explaining the process. And when it came to making servicing decisions, he was very thorough with his explanations and advice. My only concern was that it took him a few more days than I was hoping for to get back to us about trying to get the cost of the ERG valve reduced some. But he did succeed in this, and the car is running great now, and that is what is important, so we are pleased.

Well. First off I answered the ad for "we'll pay off your car no matter how much you owe plus no money down even on new cars". I got in, Erin let's me know after I looked at two cars that it will be more expensive and I'd have to put down a deposit to drive away in any other car. So then she takes my trade off the table and tries to get me to put down a deposit even lower. I had no money to put down, so then she says if I can get a 0 down would you want it today. Ok fine, so she got it to where I put 0 down, then tells me the payments will start in about 6 to 8 weeks. But when I signed paperwork with her boss it went to 4 weeks and a full 945 dollar payment which I didnt know about until I read over the paperwork later on. I was show 2 different cars there and that was it, I was given false information and then I asked about a return policy a couple days ago when she was messaging me about the payments and I never got a response obviously. The best part of the experience was her boss Mrs. Parks, thats it. Im not happy.

I originally went to Serpentini approximately 3 months prior to this visit for an oil change and there was moisture in my brake light (only had the truck about a year). They agreed to replace the light under warranty, but said they had to order it and that they would call me to schedule the replacement when it came in. Never heard from anyone. Fast forward to this visit. I took my truck in for another oil change and informed the service advisor of the brake light. He said it would be taken care of and he informed me that the truck should be done by 5pm. At 530 I received a call from the advisor which I was unable to answer due to coaching football at that time. He left a vague message stating to call him regarding the truck. The next day I called the number that he gave me, right at open and no one’s answered so I left a message. I called again about an hour later and no one answered again. I called the main serpenti number and asked for service. The lady transferred me and then it was transferred back to her as no one answered. I informed her that no one was answering the phones at service and she put me on hold. She came back and said she was transferring me to someone directly (possibly a Jamie?). She transferred and by my surprise, no one answered and I got a voicemail. I then showed up to the dealership to find no customers in service at the time and what looked like my advisor sitting in his chair on his personal phone. I informed him that I was there to pick up my truck to which he wanted to keep saying “I tried to call you” as if to put the blame on me for not answering the one time he tried. A few hours later, the truck was done. Not sure what the normal policy is but for the inconvenience, you could have at least washed the thing. In summary, you should at least set the proper expectations with customers. I was counting on 5pm as it was the time told to me and I knew that I had to coach at 530. Once the truck wasn’t going to be done by then, a phone call would have sufficed. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to answer the phone, but I’ve never seen a professional business just completely ignore customers. Everyone knows that dealerships are more expensive for oil changes, but the point of paying it is for the professionalism and expertise of them knowing the brand. I was extremely disappointed and will not be going returning for any future service.

The problem was not resolved explain to them that the front end had a vibration you think the first thing they would look at is Balancing the tires. They did not even do that so now the problem still exist. I don’t know if it’s the tires but it’s possible they didn’t even check it so I don’t know

The communication was poor. They noticed one of my tires were wearing unevenly and suggested that I replace the front two tires. When asking in deeper detail to ensure the problem was going to be fixed with new tires and an alignment I was informed they could not guarantee that because that was just a visual diagnosis. Then they ran an actually diagnosis and confirmed. Strongsville serpentini doesn’t charge a diagnostic fee but Medina does which I thought was odd. The only reason I came to Medina was that I couldn’t get into Strongsville soon enough. Was then informed if I let Medina Serpentini perform the maintenance they would wave my diagnostic fee but if I went elsewhere they would charge me that diagnostic fee. I let them perform the maintenance. Picked my vehicle up and it had two different brand tires with different tread. In my manual for my 2021 Tahoe it clearly says that it’s NOT RECOMMENDED because it can ruin my drivetrain. I called them back informed them of this problem and they ensured me that what they did was within GM specifications (contradicting the manual). I told them I wasn’t comfortable with this and they will need to replace the tires they put on with the same brand and tread to match the existing already on my Tahoe. Without any push back they did so (which made me feel as if they were contradicting their original answer). They waived the alignment fee for the defund tire change to fix their mistake but charged me an extra $100 dollars because the tires were more expensive. I would of more than happily paid the difference in the beginning if they didn’t cause the problem in the first place. I have bought 2 cars from Serpentini and referred family who ended up buying a brand new vehicle as well. This will be the last time I do business with Serpentini!

took car in cause it kept stalling out.they ran diagnostics and was told the what problem was and they could have it ready by 5:30 that day. called at 5:15 car will be ready first thing in the morning.started calling at 10am and not getting an answer from customer service guy went up at 12:30 only to find out technisian working on car yesterday was not in that day and they would try and find someone to complete the job. finally was told after much frustration car would be delivered to me by 330-which it was. am not happy am frustrated. car is 2013 only have under 53,000miles on it. it is not running smoothly when you first start it up and I feel I have wasted the $1384.00 it cost me and I could have gotten a better job at less expense. am cooling down an trying to come to an answer but it won't be with Serpentine or Chevy.

Was okay, was a little disappointed, have 42,000 miles on my truck bought the extended warranty, lux care pkg, and I have 2 paint spots small that looks like the paint peeled out, won't do anything about it, and my 3rd brake light has water in it, won't do anything about, and they said none of it is covered under extended warranty or paint under lux care, so why did I pay all this extra money for the packages and nothing is covered

Im kinda upset cause in September I got a transmission flush and paid 800 dollars. And now in November I got a 90,000 mile maintenance that costed 2300 which had a transmission flush in it. So that ain't sitting well it me and thats alot of money not just a few bucks.

I brought my 2011 Silverado 1500 LT in for a transmission filter change and 4x4 differential service. In the process, the technician cracked an exhaust pipe. He was honest about this, and the dealership repaired the crack at no extra cost. I was happy with the service. At the same time, I was unpleasantly surprised and disappointed at the high cost of these regular maintenance services.

I had my radiator changed and drove it home and parked it. The next morning I noticed a puddle underneath it. I have been trying to get a hold of the service person so that I can bring it back. Hopefully they will fix it and get me back on the road. I feel as much as I paid for this there should be no leaks.

Oil changed tires rotated...all good. I waited on the service and it took 1 hour and 40 minutes...longer than I thought it would be. I also did not like the volume of your music in the waiting room...too loud to hear the TV and I sat right next to it!!!!!

The issue was resolved. The communications could have been handled differently as we had to call daily for updates and the prices but that comes with owning a Diesel truck apparently.
